This golden-body strain of guppy produces full red and half red males, all with red tails. Females have a sunset or red tail. The body colour breeds true and helps to enhance the red pattern.
Provide adequate hiding places, like floating plants for the females and fry.
Keep with a high female:male ratio in larger populations, in 10 gallons or more.
This strain produces gold body offspring consistently. There are some male patterns that differ from the full red pattern that should be removed from the group to keep the red pattern strong for future generations.
