Blue Smokey Marble Adult Angelfish (Pterophylum scalare)

The marble pattern is enhanced with the Philippine Blue gene on these adult (12-18 month) angelfish.
A South American fish that benefits from driftwood and botanicals in the aquarium to soften the water and lower the pH to 6.0-7.5. Warmer water temperature of 75-82F (25-29C) is preferred. Minimum tank size is 25 gallons, providing at least 10 gallons per angelfish.
Angelfish have a semi-aggressive behaviour, especially when breeding, and therefore are best housed with medium sized cichlids, tetras, catfish, and plecos. Breaking up sight 
-lines with driftwood and plants is recommended to curb territorial behaviours. They are comfortable in planted aquariums and are known to spawn on Echinodorus leaves.
