From the fish tail palm tree flower, this seedpod provides a highly textured, stem-like look that mimics those found in a natural tropical stream bed. They releases light tannins to condition water while cultivating biofilm for shrimp and microfauna to graze on. They are durable and will last for months once submerged.
Aquatic: Use up to 4 pieces per 10 gallons per month. Requires boiling for 15 minutes and soaking overnight to sink.
Terrarium preparation: Rinse briefly.
