Blackwater Catappa Tea Bags (x3)
✔ Condition freshwater for softwater or blackwater fish - like South American tetras, cichlids, catfish, East Asian rasboras, West African riverine tetras, cichlids, Bettas & more!
✔ Beneficial effects of tannins without any mess; gently lowers water pH.
✔ Easy to dose and regulate tint intensity using a small, compostable, filter bag. The effect will initially increase over 7-10 days.
✔ Useful to introduce tannins when driftwood becomes depleted.
Aquatic: Rinse briefly. Use 1 bag/ 20-30 gallons. Remove the bag when you reach the desired tint level.
Replace when tannins are noticeably reduced (every 2 months), or when a darker tint is desired.
Note: To reverse the blackwater effect, use activated carbon or Seachem Purigen to clarify the water.
